Some Fun

Last weekend the hubby, kids, and I hopped in the car and headed to Shipshewana. What's in Shipshewana you say? Lots of amish, buggies, and amish shops. Also some amazing donuts at Rise N Roll, and a pretty  good pretzel and JoJo's Pretzels.  Oh and a place called Splash Universe.

So the hubby and I randomly planned a last minute trip to Splash Universe (an indoor water park) and a stay at their hotel. We completely surprised the boys which was so much fun!

When we first walked into the water park Camden turned to Bart and said "I am sooo happy," in the most serious yet joyful voice. Which made us smile (and might have almost made me shed a tear).

 The boys played for a couple of hours that evening and loved it!  Bryce may or may not have barfed on the sidewalk because he gagged on water.  And the lifegaurd may or may not have told me not to worry about it because apparently it happens all the time -- that or the water gets pooped in. Ack. Anyways, all was well and we survived.

And then we got to spend the night in our fun bunk bed room.  The boys had their own little section with 2 bunk beds. They loved it. And it proved to me that Camden (and Bryce too) would probably like that bunk bed I would like to get for his big boy room.

We had such a fun time and it was nice to have a special surprise just for the boys.  We got in hours of swimming and we filled up on lots of carbs (which was totally worth it :))... and it was all just 30 minutes away.

Can't wait to go back again.
